Christopher Brooks, 18, of the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana after a traffic stop near 75th Street and Dunham Road, police said.

Patrece Bingham, 35, of the 9800 block of Liberty Circle, Orland Hills, was arrested about 2 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop near Route 53 and Mulligan Drive, police said.

John McGarry, 20, of the 1000 block of Webster Street, Naperville, was arrested about 4:22 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 75th Street, police said.

Theft from Kohl's

Erin Lopez, 32, of the 400 block of Green Oaks, Addison, and Melissa Vazquez, 35, of the 800 block of Benedetti Drive, Naperville, were both arrested about noon on charges of retail theft after they removed various clothing, jewelry and cosmetics from , 1001 75th St., police said.  

Smash and grab

Someone smashed the passenger-side window of a vehicle and removed a wallet from a car between 5 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. in the 6600 block of Route 53, police said.

Sept. 24

BBs shot through home windows

Someone shot a BB gun through two windows of a residence in the 8100 block of Waterbury Drive between 6 p.m. Sept. 22 and noon Sept. 24, police said.

Theft at Castaldo Park

Someone took a camera from a backpack left at during the afternoon hours, police said.

Possession of marijuana

Jamie Vaughan, 23, of the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, and Inaam Kenyatta, 21, of the 2400 block of Emerald Court, were both arrested about 9:30 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Meadowdale, police said.
