May 31
Window shattered
Someone shattered the bedroom window of a home with an unknown object at 12:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Vehicle vandalized
The rear window of a vehicle was smashed between 2:30 and 4 p.m. in the 1400 block of Davey Road, police said.

Cash, credit cards stolen
Someone stole cash and various credit cards from a locker between noon and 12:50 p.m. at Edward Health and Fitness in the 6600 block of Route 53, police said.
Driving under the influence
Thomas Gavigan, 48, from 6726 Patton, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 9 p.m.following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of 63rd Street, police said.
May 30
Juveniles net trespassing charges
Two juveniles, one from Woodridge and the other from Darien, were charged with criminal trespass to vehicle after entering a garage and going through a parked vehicle at about 8:40 p.m. in the 9000 block of Charring Cross, police said.
May 29
Solicitors violation
Jamal Kojak, 30, from 4454 Parkside Ave., Chicago, was charged with a solicitors violation after failing to present a valid solicitor’s permit or business license for his food truck following a traffic stop at about 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of Kelly Court and 83rd Street, police said.
May 28
Liquor stolen from Jewel
Someone stole two bottles of alcohol and fled in a vehicle at 2 a.m. from Jewel in the 2300 block of 75th Street, police said.
Aggravated battery
A victim was punched in the face after a group of several unknown individuals demanded money at about 11:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Lemont Road, police said.
Driving under the influence
Geraldine Paluch, 50, from 13541 Mission Hill Ct., Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 12:30 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1900 block of 75th Street, police said.
May 27
House burglarized
Someone stole various items including jewelry from a home between 4:30 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. in the 7900 block of Woodridge Drive, police said. Reports state entry was made through the patio door.
Retail theft, obstructing justice
Jennifer Faedtke, 28, from 118 Briarcliff Rd., Montgomery, was charged with retail theft, resisting a police officer, obstructing justice and warrant service at 4:45 p.m. after attempting to remove baby formula from Dominick’s located in the 2300 block of 63rd Street, police said. Reports state during the incident Gregory O’Brien, 29, 125 66th Street, Westmont, was also charged with aggravated battery after an altercation with a store employee.
Driving under the influence
Carlo Martinez-Gomez, 44, from 123 Delaware Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 11:45 p.m. following a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 53 and High Trail, police said.
May 26
Vehicle keyed
Someone keyed the driver's side door of a vehicle at about 10 p.m. in the 7900 block of Woodlyn Drive, police said.
Theft from Kohl's
- Two Darien juveniles were charged with retail theft after they removed several items from Kohl’s at about 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.
- A juvenile from Downers Grove was charged with retail theft after she removed several items from Kohl’s at about 2 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.
Items stolen from vehicle
Several parts of a parked van, including the dome light, air filter, stereo, battery and fuse box were stolen between 7 p.m. May 25 and 7 a.m. May 26 in the 3000 block of Hobson Road, police said.
Vehicle burgarlized
A GPS unit, adjustable wrench and a snap on multi-meter were stolen from a vehicle between 9:30 p.m. May 25 and 9 a.m. May 26 in the 2400 block of Emerald Court, police said.
May 25
Retail theft
Anahi Ramirez-Juarez, 30 from 523 Brookside Drive, Westmont, was charged with retail theft after she removed various items from Kohl’s at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.
Cell phone stolen
A cell phone that was mislaid outside of the post office was stolen at about 2:50 p.m. at 2 Plaza Drive, police said.
