Police Blotter: Drinking, Diesel-Fuel Thievery and Rock Throwing

Woodridge police reports for Sept. 2-6.

Backpack Theft

A burglary to a motor vehicle occurred sometime between 9 a.m. on Sept. 3 and 7:50 a.m. on Sept. 6 in the 7400 block of Woodward Avenue. Unknown persons reportedly took a backpack from a parked car.

DUI/Illegal Consumption of Alcohol

At about 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, Allison Crosby, 19, of the 5700 block of Hillcrest Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. A passenger in the vehicle, Robert Los, 19, from the 8000 block of Westview Lane in Woodridge, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor following a traffic stop in the 8300 block of Route 53.

At about 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, Charles McCubbin, 18, from the 10600 block of Depot in Worth, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor while at a night club.

Illegal Consumption of Alcohol

At about 10 p.m. on Sept. 4, Taylor Lewis, 18, of the 7800 block of
Woodward Avenue, Woodridge, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

DUI

At about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, Wayne Hardy, 52, from the 1400 block of Willow Avenue in Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop near the intersection of 75th Street and College Avenue.

Rock Thrown Through Window

At about 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 3, Troy Davis, 40, from the 100 block of 4th Street in Aurora, was charged with criminal damage to property after he allegedly threw a landscaping rock through a patio window in the 2500 block of Waterbury.

Criminal Trespassing

At about 4:18 p.m. on Sept. 3, Brittany Lee, 20, from the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive, was charged with criminal trespass to property while in the 2400 block of Spring Street.

Fuel and Wheel Covers Stolen

A theft occurred in the 11000 block of Joliet Road sometime between 12 p.m.
on Sept. 2 and 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 3. Unknown persons reportedly drained the diesel fuel out of a parked tractor trailer and removed aluminum wheel covers. Estimated loss of approximately $1,100.
