Police Blotter: Car Windows Smashed, Car and Retail Thefts

Oct. 27 

Driving under the influence 

Javier Fuentes, 25, from the 200 block of Short Street in Lemont, was arrested around 12:55 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Lemont Road and 101st Street, said.

Loose change stolen from car

Someone removed loose change from a cup holder in a car around 10 p.m. in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Oct. 25 

Resisting a police officer

Jeffrey Drobilek, 21, from the 200 block of Fairwood Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 3:45 a.m. and charged with resisting a police officer following an altercation in the 8100 block of Route 53, police said. 

Oct. 24 

GPS stolen from car 

Someone took a GPS unit from a car around noon at , 2401 63rd St., police said. 

Trespass

Dante Sanders, 18, from the 2000 block of Ridge Lane was arrested around 4:45 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass to property in the 3300 block of Deer Street, police said. 

Oct. 23 

Theft from Kohl's 

A 12-year-old from the Westmont, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he or she took a pair of shoes from , 1001 75th St., police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Nicholas Strasser, 23, from the 3300 block of Western Boulevard in Chicago, was arrested around 12:45 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Boughton and Janes Avenues, police said. 

Oct. 22 

Vehicle damaged, dented 

Someone dented and damaged a vehicle between Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m., in the 7600 block of Sprucewood Avenue, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

David Marzorati, 32, from the 2400 block of Brunswick Circle was arrested around 2:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Woodridge Drive and Bradley Drive, police said.

Theft from Kohl's 

Atlantis Pegues, 25, from the 200 block of Richmond in Clarendon Hills, and Britney Polk, 25, from the 1000 block of Maxwell Street in Chicago were both arrested around 4:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after they removed clothing from , 1001 75th St., police said.

Window of car shattered 

Someone shattered the rear window of a vehicle around 10:15 p.m. in the 6700 block of Carpenter Court, police said. 

Oct. 21 

Battery 

Carl Forney, 68, from the 500 block of Race Street in Princeton, IN, was arrested around 10 a.m. and charged with battery following an incident that occurred at a residence in the 16000 block of 103rd Street, police said. 

Car window smashed  

Someone smashed the rear driver’s side window of a parked vehicle around 1 a.m. in the 8100 block of Route 53, police said.
