Tires Slashed

Someone slashed the tires of a car parked in the 3200 block of Foxwood Drive sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Trespasser Runs from Officer

Kirk Pokrefky, 53, of Hunting Woods, MI, was charged with criminal trespass to property and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.  

A Woodridge police officer was on patrol at 4:58 a.m. in the 7200 block of Woodward and saw Pokrefky on foot. The officer had knowledge that Pokrefky had previously been served a trespass notice from that same property, police said.

When the officer confronted Pokrefky, police said he took off on foot and was later caught and arrested.
