Wednesday, May 11 

Windshield smashed

Someone smashed the back windshield of a vehicle at Target, 2333 63rd St., around 8:30 p.m., police said. 

Monday, May 9 

Driving under the influence following accident

Christopher McCoy, 27, from the 10 block of Catalpa Court, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a multi-vehicle accident in the 7300 block of Hawthorne Avenue, police said.

Michael Herner, 49, from the 6700 block of Aspen Road in Lisle, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting a police officer, aggravated assault and driving while was license revoked following a traffic stop by the creek at Hobson Gate, police said.

Sunday, May 8

Car marked with spray paint

Someone marked the side of a car with spray paint between 5:30 p.m. on May 6 and 1 p.m. on May 8 in the 7500 block of Gladstone Drive, police said. 

G.P.S. Unit, Costumes Stolen from Car 

Someone removed a G.P.S. unit and costumes from a car between 3 p.m. on May 8 and 11:30 a.m. on May 9 in the 2800 block of Hobson Road, police said. 

Driving under the influence

Excel Oasay, 44, from the 31000 block of Village Green Road in Warrenville, was arrested around 12:45 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Westminster Drive, police said.

Joseph Booe, 58, from the 7700 block of Parkside Avenue in Burbank, was arrested around 1:25 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 53 and Everglade Avenue, police said.

Saturday, May 7 

Motorcycle stolen

Someone stole a motorcycle parked in the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue between 6 p.m. on May 7 and 11:40 a.m. on May 8, police said. 

Car keyed

Someone keyed the side panel and hood of a car parked in the 7900 block of Woodlyn Avenue between 7 p.m. on May 4 and 10 a.m. on May 7, police said. 

Thursday, May 5 

Bike stolen

Someone stole a bike from the porch of a house around 2:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Emerald Court, police said. 

Building marked with graffiti

Someone marked an electrical box, brick and doors on the exterior of the building with graffiti in the 6300 block of Main Street, police said.
