Car theft

A thief smashed the back passenger window and took a car radio from a car in the 7600 block of Orchard Lane around noon, police said.

sunday, feb. 20

Car burglarized

The rear driver’s side window of a car was smashed and Xbox and other miscellaneous equipment for the gaming system were removed at , 1555 75th St., between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., police said.

saturday, feb. 19

Theft

Jared Hilger, 26, from the 6400 block of Main Street in Downers Grove, was arrested around 12:40 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he attempted to remove an unknown item from , 2333 63rd Street, police said.

Theft

Ellen Delordo, 33, from the 5400 block of Cumnor Road in Downers Grove, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she was observed removing clothing from , 1001 75th Street, police said.

Burglary

Someone took two laptop computers from a residence in the 1600 block of Luzern Court between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., police said. 

Windshield smashed, car keyed

A vandal smashed the left side of a windshield and keyed the sides of a parked car around 6 p.m. in the 6700 block of Kind Court, police said.

Illegal possession of alcohol by minor

Trevor Pate, 18, from the 2200 block of Country Club Road in Woodridge, was arrested around 11:15 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor in the 2200 block of Country Club Road, police said.

Car burglary

A GPS unit was taken from a car in the 6800 block of Hobson Valley between 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., police said.
