Police Blotter: Teens Charged After Shooting Air Rifle

Car windows shattered with BB gun, bike stolen from a balcony and more in this week's police blotter.

Nov. 22 

Trespass 

Christopher Brooks, 18, from the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, was arrested around 2:45 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass to property while in Dynasty Pointe Apartments, located in the 2000 block of Ridge Lane, police said.

Nov. 20 

Bike stolen from balcony

Someone stole a bike from an apartment balcony between noon on Nov. 18 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 20 in the 2400 block of Emerald Court, police said.

Teens shoot air rifle

Three teenagers, a 14-year-old and 17-year-old from Sauk Village and a 17-year-old from Naperville, were arrested around 12:40 p.m. and charged with the unlawful discharge of an air rifle following an incident in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. 

Car windows shattered with BB gun 

Someone shattered the front driver’s side window and rear driver’s side window of a car with a BB gun around 12:40 p.m. in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Hubcap stolen

Someone removed a hubcap from the rear passenger tire of a vehicle between 8:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of Route 53, police said. 

Nov. 19 

Purse stolen from car in garage 

Someone took a purse from a car parked in a residential garage between 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 19 in the 6300 block of Bobby Jones Lane, police said. 

Arson 

Someone lit a dumpster on fire behind , 7700 Larchwood Ln., around 7:45 p.m., police said. 

Nov. 18 

Disturbance at Hollywood Blvd. 

Four people were arrested around 11:15 p.m. for various charges following a disturbance at , 1001 75th St., police said. Arrestees and charges are listed below:

  • Regina Metzger, 20, of the 300 block of 48th Street in Bellwood was charged with criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct, mob action and resisting a police officer.
  • Adrina Walls, 24, of the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive in Woodridge, was charged with battery, criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct and mob action.
  • Oceanna Mccoy, 21, of 1400 block of 24th Street in Melrose Park, was charged with criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct and mob action.
  • Tenesha Riley, 22, of Maywood, was charged with criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct and mob action.
