Forgery, deceptive practices

Tameka Cox, 24, from the 1500 block of Hamline Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 6 p.m. and charged with deceptive practices and forgery after she attempted to cash a fraudulent check at Chase, 7501 Lemont Rd., police said.

Theft at Goodwill 

Mustafa Damra from the 2500 block of Pattonwood Drive in Villa Park, was arrested around 8 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he swapped the price tags of numerous items at Goodwill, 8615 Woodward Ave., police said.

Oct. 2 

Driving under the influence

Gary Robinson, 53, from the 21000 block of Covington Drive in Plainfield, was arrested around 6:20 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an accident near the intersection of Route 53 and Hobson Road, police said. 

Mini bike stolen 

Someone removed a mini bike parked in a detached garage sometime between 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in the 9000 block of Westminster Drive, police said. 

Wallet stolen 

Someone removed a wallet containing various bank cards between 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Forest Drive, police said.

Home window broken 

Someone broke the double pane bay window in the front of a residence around 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of Hillcrest Lane, police said.

Oct. 1 

Driving under the influence

Mary Kaminsky, 48, from the 3300 block of Noble Drive in Woodridge, was arrested around 11:44 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 53 and Seven Bridges Drive, police said. 

Sept. 29 

Car window smashed 

Someone smashed the back window of a parked vehicle between 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 1 a.m. on Sept. 29 in the 6600 block of Double Eagle Drive, police said. 

Luggage rack stolen from car  

Someone stole a luggage rack from the front of a vehicle between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. in the 6600 block of Double Eagle Drive, police said.

Driving under the influence

Daniel Moss, 61, from the 800 block of Belair, Woodridge, was arrested around 8:33 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of 75th Street, police said.
