Police Blotter: Thefts at Target, Kohl's, TCF Bank

Purse stolen from car, bike stolen from apartment complex and more in this week's police blotter.

April 5 

Theft from Kohl's 

Sylvia French, 48, from the 300 block of Morgan Valley Drive in Oswego, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.

April 4 

Bank robbery

An unknown man holding a bandana to his face approached the teller at TCF Bank, 2317 W. 75th St., announced a robbery, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash around 11 a.m., police said. 

April 3 

Bike stolen from apartment complex 

Someone removed a bike from the common area of the Emerald Court apartment complex between 10 p.m. on April 3 and 7 a.m. on  April 4 in the 2400 block of Emerald Court, police said. 

March 31 

Theft from CVS 

Someone removed various items and fled in a car around 3 p.m. at CVS, 8645 Woodward Ave., police said.

March 30 

Mailbox damaged

Someone damaged a mailbox during the overnight hours between March 30 and March 31 in the 2700 block of Davos Avenue, police said. 

Theft from Target

Jamie Woods, 46, from the 600 block of Pinecrest in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 5 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed several items from Target, 2333 63rd St., police said. 

Purse stolen from car 

Someone stole a purse from a car in the 7600 block of Larchwood Lane between 7 p.m. on March 29 and 5:30 p.m. on March 30, police said.
