Police Blotter: Thefts from Kohl's, Motorcycle, iPhone Stolen

May 3 

Driving under the influence 

Scott Esposito, 40, from the 14000 block of Mallard Drive in Homer Glen, was arrested around 12:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Joliet Road and Davey Road, police said. 

May 2 

Wallet stolen from car 

Someone removed a wallet from a car in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue around 8 p.m., police said.

April 30 

Criminal damage to property

Two juveniles from Darien and Downers Grove were arrested around 10 p.m. and charged with criminal damage to property after they shattered windows with an unknown object at two separate residences, one in the 7400 block of Woodward Avenue, and the other in the 7600 block of Bristol Court, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Melissa Ronczkowski, 22, from the 100 block of Sunset Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 11:50 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and warrant service following a traffic stop in the 7900 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. 

April 29 

Back window of a car smashed

Someone smashed the back window of a car around 5:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Everglade Avenue, police said.

Motorcycle stolen

Someone stole a motorcycle between 11 p.m. on April 28 and 8:30 a.m. on April 29 in the 7900 block of Woodridge Drive, police said.

April 27 

Theft from Kohl's 

Leah Stranger, 25, from Kingery Quarter in Woodridge, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various clothing items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said. 

iPhone stolen from purse at Bobak's Signature Events 

Someone stole an iPhone from a purse left unattended at Bobak's Signature Events, 6440 Double Eagle Dr., around 10 p.m. during an event at the facility, police said.

April 26 

Theft from Kohl's 

Shannon Whittaker, 30, from the 5400 block of Burr Oak Road in Lisle, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed several clothing items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.  

Theft from Kohl's 

Karen Billington, 51, from the 300 block of Elmwood Road in Romeoville, was arrested around 6:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.
