Battery, snow blower stolen from driveway and more in this week's police blotter.

April 12 

Car window smashed 

Someone smashed the passenger side window of a car between 8 p.m. on April 11 and noon on April 12 in the 6600 block of Double Eagle Drive, said.

Table, chairs removed from patio 

Someone removed a table and chairs located on a patio outside of a residence in the 8100 block of Compton Road between 10 p.m. on April 12 and 6 a.m. on April 13, police said.

April 11 

Car stolen 

Someone parked in the complex parking lot in the 8100 block of Waterbury Court between 10 p.m. on April 10 and 4 p.m. on April 11, police said.

April 9 

Driving under the influence 

Zbigniew Smolen, 40, from the 6300 block of Poplar Avenue in Darien, was arrested around 8 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of 83rd Street and Adbeth Avenue, police said.

April 8 

Two bikes stolen

Someone removed two bicycles from a porch between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the 2500 block of Chelsea Drive, police said.

Battery, resisting a police officer 

William Wallace, 32, from the 4500 block of Beau Monde Terrace in Lisle, was arrested around 12:15 p.m. and charged with battery and resisting a police officer following an incident in the 7700 block of Fox Drive, police said.

Snow blower stolen from driveway 

Someone removed a snow blower from the driveway of a residence in the 6400 block of Bobby Jones Lane between 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., police said.

Semi-truck stolen

Someone stole a semi-truck from a parking lot in the 2600 block of Internationale Parkway around 1 a.m., police said. 

Cash stolen from business 

Someone removed an unknown amount of cash from a business in the 1900 block of 87th Street and fled in a car around 6:30 p.m., police said. 

April 7 

Theft at Beauty Zone 

Someone removed an unknown amount of products from Beauty Zone, 8262 Janes Ave., around noon and fled on foot, police said.

Pry marks left on car doors 

Someone damaged both passenger's side and driver’s side doors by leaving pry marks on each overnight in the 1900 block of Egerton Court, police said.

April 6 

Theft from Home Depot 

Emelice Romo, 19, from the 2200 block of Charmingfare Drive in Woodridge, was arrested around 11:20 a.m. and charged with retail theft after removing various items from Home Depot, 7200 Woodward Ave., police said.
