Police Blotter: Four Charged with Theft, Possession of Marijuana

Burglary, drug charges filed
Michael Slomski, 31, from the 2200 block of Dalewood Parkway in Woodridge, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. and charged with burglary, theft under $300, possession of stolen property (copper and tools), possession of marijuana (less than 30 grams) and possession of drug equipment after he was stopped in the 8000 block of Janes Avenue, police said.

Someone stole a television, DVD player, purse, jewelry and $30 from a home in the 2500 block of Waterbury around 1:20 p.m., police said.

A short time later, according to police reports, officers located, arrested and charged Miles Melvin, 20, from the 7900 block of Burr Ridge Court in Woodridge, with theft, possession of stolen property, criminal trespass to property and possession of marijuana.
Police also arrested James Midderhoff, 18, from the 2500 block of Woodbury in Woodridge, and Billy Dotson, 21, from the 1600 block of Kiowa in Naperville, and charged both with with theft, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana.
