Police: DGS Student Suspected of Theft Charged with Possession of Marijuana

Kristen Dodd, 18, of 1904 Nottingham Road in Woodridge, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on May 15, according to police. 

Dodd initially was suspected of stealing money from the women's locker room at , officers said. Three students reported thefts during first-, second- and seventh-hour gym classes. When police reviewed footage from a nearby security camera, they said Dodd was the only unsupervised student in the locker room during those times.

A search of Dodd's locker turned up 4.5 grams of marijuana, a grinder and $168 in cash, according to officers. Dodd was initially charged with theft but the charge was dropped when the victims couldn't provide a specific dollar amount stolen, police said.
