Emerald Court Murder Victim Identified As Gregory Holden
Police said Gregory Holden, 32, from the 2500 block of Meadowdale Lane, was fatally shot in his apartment on Dec. 8 around 11 a.m.
Woodridge police have identified the victim of as 32-year-old Gregory Holden.
Holden lived in the 2500 block of Meadowdale Lane, police said, where the murder occurred. That block is located off of Janes Avenue across from the and .
Police found Holden dead "from multiple gunshot wounds" in his apartment around 11 a.m. Dec. 8, according to a police press release.

said last week they believed someone broke into the apartment.
The Woodridge Police Department along with investigators from the regional Felony Investigation Assistance Team are investigating the murder, police said.

No charges have been filed, though "investigators are aggressively following all possible leads," according to the release.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
