Police Investigating Possible Meth Lab in Woodridge Apartment Complex

More information is expected to be released Thursday.

Officials are investigating a Wednesday night incident that "may involve" a meth lab in a Woodridge apartment complex, according to . 

The investigation was in its preliminary stages Wednesday night and more information was expected to be released Thursday, Woodridge Police Chief  said. 

responded to a "fire concern" in the Quarters in Woodridge apartment complex in the 8100 block of Route 53 around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, according to Lisle-Woodridge Bureau Chief Jim French.

Woodridge police and the DuPage County Sheriff's Office also responded. Lisle-Woodridge left the scene by 10 p.m., French said, but other emergency personnel remained on the scene.
