Teen Shoplifting; Apartment Burglarized: Blotter

MONDAY, DEC. 23

Burglary

A home burglary happened sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 8:53 p.m. in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone cut through a window screen, entered an apartment and removed cash, debit cards and an Apple Macbook.

Teen Shoplifting

At about 9:01 p.m., a 17-year-old girl was charged with retail theft after taking jewelry and a scarf from Kohl’s, 1001 W. 75th.

Drug Paraphernalia

At about 4:36pm, a 17-year-old girl was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following the investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Hobson Road.

SATURDAY, DEC. 21

Car Window Smashed

A vehicle was damage happened sometime between 9 p.m. on Dec. 20 and 8 a.m. Dec. 21. The rear tailgate window of a parked vehicle in the 2400 block of Emerald Court was smashed.

Shoplifting

A retail theft happened at about 11:24 a.m. from CVS Pharmacy, 8645 Woodward Ave. Two men were seen removing about 16 bottles of liquor from the store.
