Three Incidents of Car Burglary During Past Week

IPod, work bag, purse taken from three different cars, police say.

Three incidents of car burglary were reported in the last week, according to Woodridge police. 

The first took place on July 7 around 4 a.m. in the 6600 block of Greene Road. A thief shattered the rear passenger window and removed a work bag valued at $300.

The second incident took place between 11 p.m. on July 9 and 2 a.m. on July 10 in the 8000 block of Westview Lane. An iPod was removed from a car.

The third took place between 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of 75th Street. A thief smashed the driver’s side window of a car and removed a purse.
