POLICE: Armed Robbery May 4 in Woodridge Involved 3 Males
One of the males displayed a handgun, police said. Here are more details.
Woodridge police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last weekend in the village.
Three unknown males, one of them with a handgun, approached some people and requested they hand over their belongings. The incident took place outside at about 3:51 a.m. May 4 on the 2500 block of Spring Street, according to police.
The males took $20 cash, a cell phone and then fled the scene in a grey van. Information on this robbery was not immediately released due to unreliable descriptions of the males and other details, police said.
