DUI, Failure to Reduce Speed

William Hanen, 51, of the 2000 block of Prairie Drive, Woodridge, was charged with the following:
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Illegal transportation of open alcohol
  • Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
  • Operating an uninsured motor vehicle 
Hanen was arrested following a traffic accident at about 2:40 p.m. at 87th Street and Woodward Avenue, police said.
