Woodridge Man Pleads Guilty to Felony Stalking

Police said the 24-year-old man repeatedly harassed a Naperville woman he knew only from work.

A Woodridge man has pled guilty to a Class 4 felony charge of stalking for repeatedly harassing a Naperville woman over the past year, the Naperville Sun reports.

According to the paper, Ashish K. Kolli 24, was arrested on Feb. 16 and entered his guilty plea on June 27, accepting six months imprisonment (held in abeyance as long as he steers clear of his victim and her family) and 30 months of probation.

Kolli “had been stalking the victim and her family for several months... [He] knew the victim from a previous working relationship, and no personal relationship ever existed," Naperville Police Sgt. Lou Cammiso told the Sun.

“The victim called the police to her house and police responded, saw the suspect and spoke with him... [He] voluntarily came to the police department for additional questioning and was subsequently arrested.”
