Someone marked basketball courts in the 7900 block of Janes Avenue with graffiti around 4 p.m., police said.

Car panel scratched

Someone scratched the passenger side back quarter panel of a parked car in the 6800 block of Hobson Valley Drive around noon, police said.

Car windshield smashed

Someone smashed the back windshield of a car with an unknown object in the 2500 block of Chelsea Drive between 6 a.m. May 4 and 7 p.m. May 6, police said. 

May 6 

Ring stolen from Kohl's 

Zeinab Ketkat, 31, from the 95000 block of Lake Drive in Willowbrook, was arrested around 7:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed a ring from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.  

iPod stolen from car parked at Zero Gravity 

Someone stole an iPod from a car parked at Zero Gravity, 22W613 75th St. in Naperville, around 3 a.m., police said.

May 5 

Hit-and-run damages parked car 

Someone damaged a parked car by an apparent hit-and-run collision, leaving minor dents and scratches to the passenger side of the vehicle, police said. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. in the 6300 block of Route 53. 

Driving under the influence 

Richard Palomo, 24, from the 700 block of Geneva Avenue in Romeoville, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of 75th Street and Janes Ave, police said.
