Woodridge Police Checking for Speeding, Seatbelt Violations on 75th Street Tuesday

Woodridge police will concentrate speed and occupant restraint violations, according to a police press release.

You should always watch your speed and buckle up while on 75th Street, but you should do so especially Tuesday.

The Woodridge Police Department will be conducting a directed traffic safety initiative along the 75th Street corridor Tuesday, concentrating on speed and occupant restraint violations, as well as other safety violations, according to a police press release.

"The purpose of the initiative is to increase the safety of citizens utilizing the thoroughfare through education and traffic enforcement," the release said.

The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office and the Naperville Police Department will join the Woodridge Police Department in the initiative. "Each jurisdiction will implement their own enforcement action based upon the needs of their communities," the release said.
