I am seeking office because I believe that the Village of Woodridge is an excellent community with residents that believe and care in its success and I want to continue to work to ensure that the Village services are provided in a fiscally responsible manner.

I believe that my experience serving the Village as a Trustee, Plan and Pension Board member and my experience working in the public and private sector provide me with a unique understanding of the inter workings of local government.

What do you think are the top 3 goals for the Village of Woodridge?

Reduce the Residential Tax Burden, Maintain a Safe Community and Provide Adequate Infrastructure

What are some ways to promote economic development in the village?

The Village should continue to promote economic development by attendance at the various economic development conferences and providing information to industrial brokers.

Also, Shop Woodridge should continue with an additional incentive that would be provided to Village residents. The Village could also work with the Economic Development Departments of DuPage County and the State to develop a program to promote the Village to international companies. In addition an Entrepreneurship Program could be developed with one of the local colleges to help residents start new businesses in Woodridge.

Are there any new services or programs Woodridge should try to offer?

Due to the current economic climate, any new services or programs offered by the Village should either be grant or self funded.  Or they should be replacement services or programs created by inventive ideas that result in cost reductions and workplace efficiencies.

Is there any other information pertinent to your campaign that you would like to add?

In my experience as a manager, director and administrator I have developed and managed budgets, personnel, negotiated contracts and disputes, policy and provided project management. All of these skills are necessary for the success of a Village Trustee.
