Woodridge Cooling Centers Offered During Heat Wave

With a heat wave expected to last through this week, Woodridge is offering several cooling centers.

The Cooling Center hours for the Woodridge Park District (2600 Center Drive) are 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday - Friday; the Woodridge Library's (3 Plaza Drive) hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sundays; and the Woodridge Police Department's hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

The Lisle Police Department, located at 5040 Lincoln Avenue in Lisle, is a 24 hour cooling center.
