Village Hopes to Attract Residents with Relocation Packet

The packets provide information for potential residents and the benefits of living in Woodridge.

To attract new residents to Woodridge, the village has completed a relocation packet to highlight the advantages of living in Woodridge. 

The packet is available on the village website and has been given to area businesses to encourage local employees to live in Woodridge to be closer to their workplace. 

The packet is nine pages long and covers demographics, real estate, education, park district and recreation, open space and bikeways, transportation, shopping and economy and employment.

According to the packet, here are the top 10 reasons to live in Woodridge:

Woodridge has been able to reduce its property tax rate for 24 consecutive years.

Woodridge was recognized in 2007 by Money Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Places to Live”. This recognition was followed in 2008 by a feature on the World’s Greatest TV show highlighting Woodridge as one of the “Worlds Greatest Communities."
