Woodridge 'Town Meeting' To Be Held on Oct. 9

In addition to having general questions about the Village of Woodridge answered, residents will be able to register to vote at the event.

On Tuesday, October 9, the Village of Woodridge will hold a Town Meeting with a twist. Families and individuals are invited to an Open House that will feature table exhibits on various public services like Police, Fire, Public Works, Schools, Parks, Community Development, Finance, Library, and more.

The event will be held at Bobak's Signature Events in Seven Bridges. Interactive displays and programs will make this a can't-miss event! Eligible individuals can register to vote with  two form of ID. Light appetizers will be provided and kids' activity tables will be available. The event will take place 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m. Mayor Murphy will introduce the 2012 Community Recognition Award recipients and share a brief update on what is happening in Woodridge. Participants will have time to have their questions answered and learn more about what is on the horizon for Woodridge.

Families are welcome at the event, and the program is free of charge. To give the village an idea of how many people to expect, the public is asked to e-mail phalik@vil.woodridge.il.us with the number of attendees and which events they will be attending or call (630) 719-2903. RSVPs are appreciated, but not required.
