Benet Academy Students Named National Merit Semi-Finalists
One Darien resident and one Woodridge resident are among the 20 Benet Academy students in the running for the 2013 Merit Scholarship competition.
Twenty Benet Academy students from the Class of 2013 have been named National Merit Semi-Finalists for the the 2013 Merit Scholarship Competition. Congratulations to the following students, who are listed beneath their home towns:

Semifinalists are chosen by their high scores on the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualify Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
These academically talented students will have the opportunity to continue in competition for Merit scholarship awards worth $32 million that will be offered next spring.
