D68 School Board President to Receive Award
Woodridge School Board Thomas Ruggio is being recognized for his efforts in continuing education and professional development.
has announced that Thomas Ruggio, President of the Board of Education, is now a member of the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) LeaderShop Academy. The LeaderShop Academy promotes and recognizes board members' efforts toward continuous learning and professional development.
“This achievement exemplifies the lifelong learning we hope all board members model for their students and community,” says Angie Peifer, Associate Executive Director, Board Development, Illinois Association of School Boards.
This award will be presented to Mr. Ruggio at the IASB DuPage Division fall dinner meeting on October 2nd at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glen Ellyn.
