Christmas in Willaimsburg

Colonial Williamsburg is a magical place during the Christmas season. Candles shine in the windows, and the houses are decorated with wreaths, swags of fruit, dried flowers, and other natural decorations.

This slide lecture, presented by Nancy McCully, will take a look at the beautiful decorations, discuss Williamsburg's role as the colonial capital of Virginia, and show how you can make your own similar decorations. The presentation will be held on Monday, December 13th at 7:00pm.

Nancy McCully has a Bachelor's degree in History from Northwestern University and a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois.
