Volley For The Cure

This is the first annual Volley for the Cure event for the two junior high schools. Volley for the Cure started in 2006 when two rival volleyball teams in Ohio decided to work together to honor the fight against breast cancer.

The Gower Middle School and Jefferson Jr. High School have been collecting donations for the Susan B. Komen Foundation. Both teams will play with pink shirts and a pink volleyball. The varsity game will start at 4 p.m. at Gower and the junior varisty game will start at 4:45 p.m.
