The program was started because studies show that children who eat breakfast on a regular basis are at an educational, physical, and emotional advantage over those who do not. Being part of the National School Lunch Program, breakfast must meet the USDA’s guidelines for nutrition. Parents can be confident that their child’s meal will provide the fuel necessary for learning and a good start to their day.

Woodridge School District 68 serves around 3,000 students in kindergarten through eighth grade by providing a comprehensive educational foundation for all children in a safe, caring environment, preparing them to be productive, responsible, and successful members of society.
