Two Fundraisers Sunday for Hunter Himes

A bowling fundraiser and a haircut-a-thon will raise funds for DG student recovering from February accident.

There are two fundraisers Sunday to benefit the family of Hunter Himes, a Lakeview student who was  when he was struck by a car.

The first is a bowling fundraiser at Brunswick Zone, 1555 W. 75th St., from 5 to 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 per person, which inclues two hours of unlimited bowling shoe rental, raffle ticket, pizza and soda. Half of the ticket price will go to Hope for Hunter. Contact lindes@comcast.net to reserve your ticket.

You can also stop buy the event for a raffle, which will include baskets of prizes donated by the community. 

Also on Sunday, Michael Graham Salon & Spa in downtown Western Springs wil have a cut-a-thon with proceeds going to Hunter's family.

The cut-a-thon is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Haircuts are $20, mini-manicures are $15 and brow waxes are $10.
