2 District 99 Wrestlers Continue in State Finals
DGN's Willie Anaya and DGS' Cullen Cummings have won their state quarterfinal meets.
Both Downers Grove North and Downers Grove South have a wrestler continuing in the IHSA 3A state finals.
DGS's Willie Anaya (28-2) took third place at state in his weight class last year. He took second at the 3A Glenbard North sectional last Saturday.
Cummings defeated Clay Shelton from Plainfield North High School in the prelims and Mike Mizaur from Mt. Carmel High School in his 132-pound quarterfinal match-up.

Anaya defeated Zach Benkovich in Hononegah High School in the prelims and Michael Woulfe from Oak Park River Forest High School in his 160-pound quarterfinal match-up.
Zack Urbanski (35-7) and fellow senior Justin Novotny (35-10), from Downers Grove North, also qualified for state.

Urbanski was defeated by Tom Howell from Marist. Novotny was defeated by Rob Bain from Bolingbrook High School.
The semifinal and final rounds will continue Friday and Saturday.
