Downers Grove South Golfers Finish Strong at State
Senior Jack Korzon and junior Trent Caraher put in strong showings at the state final golf meet Oct. 18–19.
Downers Grove South golfers senior Jack Korzon and junior Trent Caraher advanced out of the IHSA Sectional held at Spring Brook Golf Course in Naperville on Oct. 14, to play in the State Finals Oct. 18–19 at The Den at Fox Creek in Bloomington.
Both golfers played well and represented DGS impressively. Korzon’s two-day total of 163 earned him a tie for 64th place and Trent Caraher’s two-day total of 156 landed him in a tie for 31st.
