Downers Grove South Soccer Team Food Drive

The Downers Grove South Soccer Team is organizing its second annual food drive for the West Suburban Community Pantry on Tuesday, September 25th during their Youth Night game against Hinsdale South High School

The West Suburban Community Pantry is an emergency food pantry that serves the DuPage community by feeding the hungry and sharing resources to improve the quality of life for those in need in the community. The pantry currently serves almost 900 households per month, equating to over 3,100 people. This is made possible largely due to the generous support of our community. The pantry, located at 6809 Hobson Valley Drive #118 in Woodridge, serves clients on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00am-Noon and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm.The pantry will also accept any donations at their facility.

 It should be an exciting soccer game since they will be playing their rivals, Hinsdale South High School. This is the only time during the season that the two teams will play against each other.  The sophomore game will kick off at 4:30pm and the Varsity game will start at 6:30pm. The games will be held at Downers Grove South High School located at 1436 Norfolk.  Please help us feed those in need in our own community by bringing your donations of non-perishable food items to this September 25th game.  Thank you for your support.
