After a challenging start to the season with a conference record of 1-5, the varsity boys improved to 4-9 with three consecutive wins.

The team is led by the defensive play and hustle of Frankie Gordy and Khamari Greene and the consistent 3-point shooting of Ty McCullough and Riley Heavey.

Old Quarry Middle School led the conference with a 12-3 record.

Scholastic Bowl

The Jefferson Scholastic Bowl Team recently earned its first victory as they defeated Old Quarry in dual team completion. The team is currently fourth in conference with a record of 2-3 in conference play but has learned to play together as a team and is having a lot of fun. The team moves into the SDEAA conference tournament March 15.
