Fire Victims Fundraiser 06/07 - Donations now tax deductible!

ON MAY 1st, 2014 A FIRE broke out at the Golf Meadow Estates Apartments on Woodward Avenue, just south of 75th Street.  12 units were a total loss for 11 families.  Seeing the need to assist, the Woodridge Jaycees got involved and have put together a fundraiser to help the families get back on their feet as they move pass this personal tragedy, and rebuild their lives.
The fundraiser is a spaghetti dinner to be held this Saturday, June 7th at Zero Gravity located at the Southwest corner of 75th Street and Route 53 in Woodridge.  The event runs from 4pm to 7pm.  Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids age twelve and under.  The event will include a pasta dinner, music, raffle items, a silent auction of sports memorabilia, and opportunity to donate to the family.

In the process of planning this event, the Woodridge Jaycees have partnered with the Illinois Jaycees Charitable Foundation, an IRS 501(c)3 charitable organization as a Co-Sponsor.  In doing so, donations towards the event are now tax deductible for those willing to donate.

The Woodridge Jaycees would like to invite the entire Woodridge and surrounding communities to the event to help our fellow citizens.  More information about the fire and the fundraiser can be found at www.woodridgejaycees.org.

If you cannot make the event, the Jaycees will happily accept donations.  Donations can be made through the Illinois Jaycees Charitable Foundation's PayPal links found on the Woodridge Jaycees website, (OR CLICK HERE) AND checks can be made payable to the Illinois Jaycees Charitable Foundation and send to:
