Project H.E.L.P. New Volunteer Open House

Changing Lives, One Family at a Time

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - Join Project H.E.L.P.

Raising a family in today’s world can be overwhelming and stressful. It is not unusual for parents to feel alone and ill prepared to provide their children with the proper love and support needed to help them thrive.  It is our mission at Project H.E.L.P. (Healthy Environment for Little People) to strengthen and support the quality of life for parents, their children and their families. We work directly with parents through our parent mentor program and parent education workshops to guide families as they improve parenting skills, increase understanding of child development, and learn to manage a household in a positive and healthy manner.

Volunteers are the cornerstone of our organization and, while we have a wonderful team of volunteers, we are always in need of more people willing to get involved!  The only qualification needed is a caring heart. Volunteerism is as much for the volunteer as it is for the recipient of the volunteer service.

Whether your interest lies in mentoring, coordinating special events, board governance, or providing general office support, Project H.E.L.P. has an area suited just for you.  All necessary training is provided. At our open house, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our programs and meet our passionate and dedicated team of volunteers and board of directors.

This event is targeted to individuals who are looking to make a difference in their community but would like a “no-obligation” opportunity to receive information about volunteering and becoming a part of a dynamic team working together in changing lives one family at a time!

Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
