It is often said that laughter is the best remedy to any problem.  As a comedian I find this to be true.  Laughter can erase sorrow, ease tension, lighten the mood and even burn calories (you have to get that workout in somehow).  However, true comedy will leave you with an afterthought.

There aren't many avenues to enjoy comedy in the suburbs.  People often feel that you have to go to Chicago to see "real comedy."  But what many suburbanites don't understand is that there are many comedians who are bringing comedy to your doorstep.  There are many acts that are sprouting up in the suburbs and for a fairly less expensive price than that of Chicago.

Think about it...if you travel to Chicago for a show you're going to have to pay for gas, parking, that lovely 2 drink minimum, food and don't forget to tip the waitress.  But what if there were another option?  What if there was a local, suburban stand up community producing hilarious and engaging shows for half the price?
