Located in Downers Grove, North High School draws students from Woodridge, Westmont, Oak Brook, Lisle and Darien. Founded in 1928, the school has been recognized for its academic excellence. It was named among the best in the nation by Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report and boasts an average ACT score nearly three points above the state average. Approximately 75 percent of the student body participates in athletics, theater, music or other school activities.
