<p>The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District serves all Woodridge residents living north of I-55 and west of I-355 and Country Club Estates.</p>
<p>Station 3 is one of five stations that make up the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District. Two of the district's stations are in Woodridge; three are in Lisle. The district's headquarters are at Station 1 on School Street in Lisle. However, the fire-prevention bureau of the district is located at Station 3 in Woodridge.</p> <p>The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District covers approximately 30 square miles and roughly 70,000 people, protecting the Village of Lisle and roughly 80 percent of Woodridge (primarily west of I-355). The district also covers some unincorporated areas of DuPage County. Lisle-Woodridge makes more than 5,000 fire-related and emergency medical responses per year.</p> <p>The district is rated an ISO class 1 fire district—the highest rating for a fire district by the Insurance Services Office, a nonprofit organization that provides ratings and other services to property and casualty insurance industries.</p> <p>The fire chief is Thomas Freeman.</p> <p> </p>
