Police: Teen Displays Knife, Attempts Robbery in Echo Point Park
No one has been charged in the incident, according to Woodridge police.
An attempted armed robbery took place in Echo Point Park Saturday night, according to Woodridge police. A man in his mid-teens approached someone around 9:30 p.m. and displayed a knife, according to police. When the teen learned the person did not have anything valuable in his or her possession, the teen fled on foot, police said. No charges have been made in the incident. Echo Point Park is located along Woodridge Drive, near 83rd Street.
