Much-debated Costco to Open in November
Village officials said the Bolingbrook development will bring customers, increased potential to Woodridge businesses and open lots.
Plans to complete the Costco development in Bolingbrook could make the Boughton Road and I-355 intersection one of the most lucrative in the area -- for Bolingbrook directly and Woodridge perhaps more indirectly. Costco is scheduled to complete construction on the wholesale superstore on Nov. 12, bringing yet another corporate giant to the already retailer-heavy intersection. The Costco is located in Bolingbrook, and Bolingbrook will receive 100 percent of the sales tax revenue.
