Want to receive a free donut for donating to a great cause? Join the Woodridge Police Department from 5 a.m. to noon Friday in supporting the Special Olympics of Illinois during "Cop on Top." Police officers will be volunteering at both Woodridge Dunkin' Donuts locations (2401 75th St. and 1920 87th St.) and asking for donations. Everyone who donates will receive a coupon for a free donut. Those who donate $10 or more will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last. The mug gets you free refills at participating Dunkin’ Donuts stores on Friday. Last year, the Woodridge Police Department raised $3,100 during the event. Donations will be used to sponsor Illinois athletes participating in Special Olympics events. …
