Newly Elected District 68 Board Members Talk Priorities, How They Got Elected

Patti Cash, Scott Coley, Leslie Pollack and Scott Salerno were elected to the District 68 school board Tuesday.

Below, they talk about how they got the word out about their candidacy and what they're looking forward to accomplishing in the next four years. Patti Cash (newcomer) What was your reaction to being elected? It was very exciting, and very humbling. I was very honored to be elected. I was overwhelmed to get so much support. District 68 Candidates Cash, Coley and Pollack Speak at Wednesday's Forum

Each candidate had five minutes to speak to an audience of about a dozen people.

About a dozen people came to Jefferson Jr. High Wednesday afternoon for a candidate forum featuring the candidates of the District 68  Board of Education race. The forum was hosted by the Woodridge Education Association and the Woodridge Educational Support Staff Association. Patti Cash, Scott Coley and Leslie Pollack were at the event. Scott Salerno had a previous engagement and was not expected to show. Jeff Gaspar did not attend the event. Below are the remarks from each of the three candidates present.
