Police Remove Meth Lab from Woodridge Apartment

The small lab was discovered Wednesday night when police served an arrest warrant, according to reports.

Local and state police removed a small working meth lab from a Woodridge apartment Wednesday night, according to officers. Woodridge police said they arrived at the Quarters in Woodridge apartment complex in the 8100 block of Route 53 around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to serve an arrest warrant for theft to Michael Dehlinger. The 22-year-old was taken into custody after attempting to flee and is being held on the arrest warrant at the DuPage County Jail, according to police. While on the scene, police said they discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment, including a small meth lab. The Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District Hazmat Team was called to the scene and determined the lab was not an immediate threat to others in the …

Police Investigating Possible Meth Lab in Woodridge Apartment Complex

More information is expected to be released Thursday.

Officials are investigating a Wednesday night incident that "may involve" a meth lab in a Woodridge apartment complex, according to Woodridge police.  The investigation was in its preliminary stages Wednesday night and more information was expected to be released Thursday, Woodridge Police Chief Ken Boehm said.  Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department responded to a "fire concern" in the Quarters in Woodridge apartment complex in the 8100 block of Route 53 around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, according to Lisle-Woodridge Bureau Chief Jim French.  Woodridge police and the DuPage County Sheriff's Office also responded.
