I Flip ‘N’ Learn Preschool Plans Open House Sunday

Preschool combines gymnastics with preschool academic curriculum.

I Flip”N” Learn Preschool will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at its facility at 10350 Rising Court in Woodridge. Area residents with preschool age children are invited to attend the open house to view the gymnastics facility and preschool classroom, meet the teacher and learn more about the school’s curriculum. The preschool offers what the name implies and more – combining the benefits of gymnastics with preschool academic curriculum goals created by the State of Illinois, all under the guidance of a certified elementary education teacher in a comprehensive gymnastics facility. District 99 Has Preschool Openings for 2012-13

Two-day-a-week sessions are offered to parents at either North or South High School.

Editor's note: The following information is provided by District 99.  The preschool programs at both North High School and South High School in Downers Grove have openings for the 2012-2013 school year. High school students studying child development are eager to take on an active teaching role for the programs, which are designed for parents to drop off their children. North High’s “Little North Stars” preschool is open to children ages three years old (by September 1) through kindergarten. Two, two-day a week sessions are offered, either on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday. Small Miracles Preschool Named Woodridge's Favorite

Small Miracles received the most votes and reviews in our Readers' Choice contest.

This week, we asked you to vote for your favorite Woodridge preschool.  It turned into a showdown between Woodridge United Methodist's Small Miracles Preschool and the Woodridge Park District's Tot School.  In the end, Small Miracles received the most votes (205 to 180) and shout-outs from Woodridge readers. Rosa Pavlo wrote, "Both of my kids went to Small Miracles and I really going to miss that place after this year ends. They are now part of our family and treat my children like their own! LOVED Small Miracles.... Cannot say enough about them!!! My son loved every minute of his 3 years there, and I cannot wait for my daughter to start there this fall. Staff and teachers are so kind and loving, It's like sending your child to spend the day with family. The curriculum is top notch, and prepared my son in every way for a great year in kindergarten. Preschool Openings at North High School

North is looking for 3-year-old to kindergarten-age children for its child development class.

The following information was provided by Community High School District 99. The preschool program at North High School in Downers Grove has openings for the 2011-2012 school year. High school students studying child development are eager to take on an active teaching role for the programs, both of which are designed for parents to drop off their children. Preschool is open to children ages 3 years (by Sept. 1) through kindergarten. Two, two-day-a-week sessions are offered, either on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday. Both sessions run 12:50 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. The nine-week fall session starts in October. A 14-week spring session runs through May. The cost is $210 for the year.
