Police: Downers Grove Teen Drove Drunk Into Woodridge Home

Police said Ryan Kujawa struck a vehicle, garage, traffic sign, street sign and two trees before overturning his car at 75th Street and Janes Avenue Dec. 21.

A Downers Grove teen was charged with a DUI after driving into a parked car, a home and more before rolling over the car late last month in Woodridge, police said.  Ryan Kujawa, 18, of the 1200 block of Arnold Court in Downers Grove, was charged Dec. 27 with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle, following traffic incidents that occurred in Woodridge the evening of Friday, Dec. 21. According to Woodridge police, Kujawa was driving a 2008 Nissan on Friday, Dec. 21, when at approximately 11:10 p.m., he hit a parked car in the 6600 block of Oak Tree Trail in Woodridge, then hit the garage at the home.
