Woodridge Park District Offers Skateboard Camp
The camp in Woodridge will take place July 23-27.
Beginner and intermediate skateboarders are invited to attend Woodridge Park District's "Go Skate" Skateboarding Camp at Janes Avenue Skate Park. The Woodridge skateboard camp is instructed by "Go Skate," a leading provider of skateboard lessons. Two camps will be offered from July 23 to 27: one for 6- to 10-year-olds and another for those 8-year-olds and up. Skateboarders will get comfortable in the skate park, as well as learn cool tricks like ollies, kick flips and how to ride the ramp. The 6- to 10-year-old camp will run from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and cost $80 for residents and $100 for nonresidents.
